Alarmed Residents on Edge

After waking up twice this week to find local businesses gone without a trace, MoreCityBricks residents are on edge this morning. With sirens blaring and Detective Chase McCain once again at the scene, residents stared in shock at the empty lot that used to be the Natural History Museum.

"This is unreal," said Cora Spectator. "I was just at the museum yesterday!"

Detective McCain refused to comment on MoreCityBricks' third disappearance this week. Instead, he quietly looked over the scene with his magnifying glass before canvasing the neighborhood for witnesses and clues.

Mayor Builder was once again aloof about the strange disappearance. "Sometimes these things happen. We just have to pick up the pieces and rebuild our community."

Onlookers were not so cavalier. "That's easy for the Mayor to say," said Shelby Honest. "But we put our hearts and souls into that museum--and our dinosaur. It's not like we can just pick up a new dinosaur!"

"I think the Mayor is not seeing the whole picture," said Sarah Friendly. "Not only are these businesses gone without a trace, but we are missing 11 residents! Something serious is going on!"

Mayor Builder offered a simple explanation after the crowd dispersed this morning. "People move. Sometimes they move to Oregon. Sometimes they move to Pennsylvania. And sometimes they move to Oregon again--with their dinosaurs."
